Operates as a member of a crew assisting skilled specialists in the construction and repair of roads and bridges, the removal and creation of natural and man-made obstacles, the operation and repair of engineer construction equipment, and the installation of utilities.
Must have a general familiarity with the engineer functions of demolitions, construction equipment operation, water supply, bridging, and carpentry. Note:—Men with this SSN will constantly be observed and as they develop into one of the skilled engineer specialists will be appropriately reclassified.
