MOS 5974, Tactical Data Systems Administrator

Tactical Data Systems Administrators (TDSA) plan and perform operational management and maintenance on the Marine Air Command and Control Systems (MACCS) Tactical Data Systems and common hardware/software suites. These include but are not limited to the AN/TYY-2 (Theater Battle Management Core Systems), AN/TYQ-101A (Communication Data Links system), AN/UYQ-91(V)1 (Intel Operation Server V1), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), AN/GYK-60 (Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System), USC-55A (Commanders Tactical Terminal Hybrid 3), and Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS).


Prerequisites.
(1) Must possess an EL score of 110 or higher.
(2) Must be eligible for a secret security clearance.
(3) Must have minimum one year of high school algebra.
(4) Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Tactical Data Systems Administrators Course, Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School, 29 Palms, CA.
(2) Complete the Basic Electronics Course.
