Unmanned Aerial Vehicle mechanics inspect and maintain UAV airframes and airframe components and perform duties relating to flight line operations.
Prerequisites.
(1) Must possess an MM score of 105 or higher.
(2) Must have normal color perception.
Requirements.
(1) Complete the appropriate formal "A" school, Aviation Structural Mechanic Core at NATTC, NAS Pensacola, FL and Aviation Structural Mechanic Organizational Level Strand Class A1 at NATTC, NAS Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete the appropriate formal "C" school, Shadow UAV Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, 662-ASIU2, Ft. Huachuca, AZ or other UAS training sites and courses designated by HQMC.
