As a member of the crew of an armored amphibian tractor used in amphibious and assault missions, performs one or more duties such as driving, radio tending, weapons firing and maintenance, vehicle inspection and minor maintenance.
May perform supervisory duties incident to the control, coordination, and tactical employment of one or more armored amphibian tractors and their crew members. Must be capable of performing all of the basic duties in the tractor crew. Should have sufficient knowledge of tactical employment of armored amphibian tractors to be able to anticipate commands, to take advantage of available cover on land, and to maneuver to secure best fields of fire.
