597 - SELF-PROPELLED WEAPON CREWMAN, FULL-TRACK

Performs one or more of the duties incident to the driving, operation, firing, and minor maintenance of such full-track selfpropelled weapons as the 105mm howitzer motor carriage.

604 - MACHINE GUN CREWMAN  
[MG CREWMAN]

Loads, aims, fires, cleans, and maintains, a .30 cal. or .50 cal. machine gun to provide automatic direct, indirect, or overhead fire in ground operations in support of tactical units breaking through enemy defense, harassing enemy troops and positions, and in defense against enemy aircraft, light armored vehicles, and enemy counterattack.

607 - MORTAR CREWMAN

Sets up, aims, fires, cleans, and maintains a 60mm or 81mm mortar.

610 - ANTITANK GUN CREWMAN  
[AT GUN CREWMAN]

Operates as a member of a crew that fires and maintains such antitank weapons as 37mm or 75mm guns.

707 - DRILL INSTRUCTOR  
[DRILL INSTR]

Instructs and trains personnel in basic military skills, such as drilling, handling of small arms, discipline, and customs of the service.

745 - RIFLEMAN  

Loads, aims, and fires a rifle, and employs hand grenades and bayonet to destroy enemy personnel and to assist advance against an enemy position.

746 - AUTOMATIC RIFLEMAN  

Loads, aims, and fires an automatic rifle to assist the advance of friendly troops by obtaining and holding fire superiority over the enemy.

761 - SCOUT-SNIPER  

An especially trained Rifleman (SSN 745) who engages in scouting and patroling activities to obtain information concerning strength, disposition, and probable intentions of enemy forces; disrupts enemy communications; destroys enemy personnel by rifle fire.
