Company E, 47th Inf Regiment, 9th Inf Division, WWII

Company E picture taken March 26, 1942 at Ft. Bragg, NC. The entire Company was either killed or captured trying to take Hill 369 at El Guettar, Tunisia March, 1943. My (Edward Wisneski Jr.) father was a platoon staff sergeant who spent 26 months mostly in German Stalag III-B.
