275 - CLASSIFICATION SPECIALIST
[CLFN SPL]
Interviews, tests, classifies, and recommends assignment of officer and enlisted personnel.
Maintains officer and enlisted Qualification Cards, personnel accounting systems, and related records, such as actual and authorized strength by primary specification serial number. Accomplishes strength reports. Reviews duties of personnel periodically and recommends reclassification to other SSN's when appropriate, or recommends action to be taken to correct misassignments of personnel.
Must be thoroughly familiar with regulations, manuals, and procedures pertaining to personnel classification. Must have general familiarity with Marine Corps personnel administration. Should be familiar with the requirements of all jobs in the unit to which assigned.
