791 - OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Assists operations officer in maintaining diaries, logs, operations maps, and other records of the activities of a ground organization, and in preparing plans for tactical employment and disposition of troops in attacks against enemy forces and in the strategic withdrawal of troops in retrograde movements.
Must be thoroughly familiar with the organization of the various types of units within the command. Should have general familiarity with the tactical employment of the units. Note—See also SSN's 593 and 814.
