594 - LIGHT ANTIAIRCRAFT FIRE CONTROL MAN

Performs one or more duties incident to the operation of instruments or equipment used in the collection or compilation of firing data for a light antiaircraft gun.
Operates such instruments as the M-5 or M-6 director used in conjunction with a 40mm or similar light antiaircraft gun. May operate power generator furnishing power for directors. May supervise a crew in setting up, adjusting, and operating light antiaircraft fire control equipment.
Must understand basic principles of antiaircraft fire control and must know proper use of fire control equipment used in conjunction with light antiaircraft guns.
