603 - FIELD ARTILLERY CREWMAN

Performs one or more duties incident to the loading, aiming, firing, and minor maintenance of an artillery piece, such as the 75mm, 105mm, or 155 mm howitzer used as field artillery.
May perform supervisory duties incident to the control, coordination, and tactical employment of one or more howitzers and their crew members. Must be capable of performing all of the duties in the howitzer crew. Note—See also SSN 845.
