125 - ELECTROPLATER
Covers metal objects with a coating of nickel or other metal by electrolytic methods.
Cleans object by immersing it in a series of baths; immerses object in a solution of metallic salts of the plating metal; and regulates electrical controls to keep a specific intensity of electric current flowing through the plating solutions. Must be thoroughly familiar with methods of handling acids and mixing standard solutions for pickling, washing, and plating.
