Assists the Materiel Officer of an aviation unit in the various stock-handling and related clerical duties incident to the requisitioning, storage, maintenance, and issue of aircraft technical supplies and equipment.
Checks specifications and stock numbers of incoming and outgoing supplies against requisitions, invoices and bills of lading, and counts, grades, and weighs articles. Must be thoroughly familiar with nomenclature, appearance, and interchangeability of aircraft parts. Must be familiar with aircraft parts catalogues and with supply procedures.
