020 - BAND LEADER
Supervises or assists in the supervision of the musical Activities of a band or orchestra. Prepares rehearsal schedules; selects and arranges music; inspects musical instruments and equipment; directs rehearsals; and directs the band or orchestra in public performance.
Must be able to arrange orchestrations and to direct the band at military ceremonies and concerts. Must be a competent musician an one or more band instruments. Must know regulations and procedures pertaining to band administration and to band activities at military ceremonies.
