Inspects, installs, tests, operates, and repairs radio sets, amplifying equipment, and antennae used in telephone systems as radio links in areas in which continuous wire lines are impractical.
Selects sites, sets up, and joins radio sets with connecting wire lines. Adjusts antennae. Makes all adjustments, repairs, improvisations, and replacements necessary to keep radio link in operation. Must have general knowledge of the theory of operation of radio link equipment.
