[MSG CEN MAN]
Performs one or more of the duties involved in the operation of a message center, such as receiving, dispatching, logging, distributing, and delivering messages, communications, and publications.
May encipher and decipher or encode or decode messages, using all types of cryptographic systems and equipment. May type messages and dispatches. At the supervisory level is responsible for control and coordination of message center operations and personnel.
Must have a thorough knowledge of message center procedures, and a general knowledge of the methods of operation of the various communication agencies.
