Exercises general supervision over any type of construction project or group of projects involving the construction and repair of buildings, roads, bridges, drainage systems, or water supply systems.
Reads plans and blueprints; lays out and assigns work. Usually directs the activities of several construction crews. Must be thoroughly familiar with engineering and construction principles. Must be able to give technical directions. Note—For direct supervision of a crew of workers use SSN 796.
