Receives, stores, and issues spare parts and accessories for engineer equipment (surveying, drafting, reproduction, and construction equipment) in a repair shop, supply depot, or warehouse.
Checks and makes records of incoming parts. Stores parts in bins or compartments in such a manner as to facilitate issue and taking of inventory. Issues and keeps record of parts issued. Takes periodic inventories. Must be thoroughly familiar with nomenclature, appearance, and interchangeability of engineer parts. Should know supply procedures and regulations governing accountability and responsibility for government property.
