Supervises enlisted specialists in the maintenance and repair of utilities such as light, heat, power, water, and sewage disposal systems, and of buildings, roads, and grounds.
Determines type and extent of repair or maintenance needed and makes arrangements to see that work is properly performed. Must have basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electricity. Must be capable of supervising a maintenance crew. Note—See also SSN 121.
