Disposes of unexploded bombs, projectiles, and mines by excavating, disarming, removing, or detonating them.
Must be thoroughly familiar with explosives, projectiles, bombs, mines, booby traps, and fuzes of friendly and enemy manufacture. Must have a knowledge of the maintenance and use of excavating, rigging, and bomb disposal equipment.
