Inspects, tests, services, and makes all manner of repairs and replacements on gasoline or Diesel-powered amphibian tractors or armored amphibian tractors, excluding repairs to the armament, armament accessories, and communication equipment.
May maintain and repair other types of vehicles in an amphibian tractor or armored amphibian tractor unit. Must be thoroughly familiar with amphibian tractor construction. Must have knowledge of the theory, construction, and operation of tractor engines, and be competent to perform major repairs. Note—See also SSN 907.
