Performs one or more of the duties incident to the operation, docking, loading, unloading, and minor maintenance of small boats, including crash boats.
Must know principles of navigation, dead reckoning, care of small vessels, maritime rules, and mechanical operation of boats and equipment. Note—See also SSN 564 for Crash Crewman not qualified to operate boats.
