Makes electrical and mechanical repairs and adjustments to electrically operated punch card accounting machines such as tabulators, sorters, reproducers, key punch machines, interpreters, and collators.
Disassembles and repairs machines by replacing defective parts such as gears, generators, motors, and by adjusting feed knives, camshafts, and ratchets. Must be able to read electrical and mechanical diagrams. Must be able to wire and operate tabulating machines.
