[PROP NCO]
Performs various duties in the receipt, storage, and issue of the property of a unit.
Receives requisitions for such supplies as clothing and individual equipment, procures them from the supply section of the next higher echelon, and issues supplies to individuals. Checks incoming and outgoing supplies, stores them in bins or racks, maintains property accounts, takes inventories, and submits periodic reports of status of unit property.
May perform additional duties of POLICE NCO (SSN 565). Must have general familiarity with regulations governing property accounting at the unit level, classes of government property, supply procedures, and proper methods of storage of supplies.
