575 - QUARTERMASTER DISBURSING CLERK
[QM DISBURS CLK]
Performs various clerical duties incident to the collection of accounts due to and the payment of accounts owed by the Quartermaster.
Audits vouchers for payment of materials received or services performed. Maintains schedules of collections and disbursements. Decides, within limits prescribed by the disbursing officer, questions of legality, propriety, form, procedure, and method of payment. In small units may perform transportation duties, such as arranging for passenger and freight transportation in addition to disbursing duties.
Must have general familiarity with Marine Corps, federal government, and General Accounting Office regulations pertaining to disbursing.
