821 - QUARTERMASTER SUPPLY MAN
[QM SUP MAN]
Performs various clerical duties incident to the requisitioning, receipt, storage, and issue of supplies and equipment.
Maintains prescribed Marine Corps records, forms, and reports involved in issuing supplies to Property NCO's (SSN 566) or to other supply personnel of lower echelons, or in procuring supplies from higher echelons. In small units may perform stockroom duties in addition to clerical duties. Must be thoroughly familiar with Marine Corps procedures, forms, and regulations pertaining to the supply functions of units other than supply depots.
Must be capable of accomplishing the following forms: NAVMC 6-QM, Statement of Charges for Government Property; NAVMC 24-QM, Invoice and Receipt, Public Property; NAVMC 25-QM, Requisition; NAVMC 138-QM, Abstract of Sales of Government Property for Cash; and other supply forms routinely employed in units other than those organized primarily for supply, as, for example, an Infantry Battalion, Artillery Regiment, or Aviation Squadron.
