As a member of a fire department, operates and maintains fire fighting equipment; performs rescue work; salvages articles of value during a fire; performs resuscitation and administers firstaid.
May drive fire truck. May supervise a crew of fire fighters. Should understand demolition methods in preventing the spread of fires.
