736 - TANK CREWMAN

As a crew member of a tank team, performs various duties such as driving, radio tending, weapons firing and maintenance, and tank inspection and minor maintenance.
May operate, recharge, and perform minor maintenance on tank-carried flame throwers. May perform supervisory duties incident to the control, coordination, and tactical employment of one or more tanks and their crew members. May operate a tank dozer. Must be capable of performing all of the duties in the tank crew.
Should have sufficient knowledge of tactical employment of tanks to be able to anticipate commands, to take advantage of cover, and to maneuver to bear on targets. Note—See also SSN's 597 and 994.
