980 - PROJECTOR REPAIRMAN, 35MM
[PROJECTOR RPRMAN, 35MM]
Performs all types of repairs, overhauls, and adjustments on 35mm motion picture projection and sound-reproducing equipment.
Repairs head mechanisms, motors, optical systems, electrical systems and sound amplifying systems. Must be a graduate of a naval sound motion picture technician's school, or have equivalent training or experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of both the incandescent and arc types of 35mm projection equipment. Must be able to diagnose malfunctioning of assemblies and units and to determine whether parts should be replaced, repaired, or salvaged.
