I wonder how life has treated all of my fellow platoon members of 3134. I ran into only 2 people through the years and have not seen or heard from anyone for many years now. I had spoken to our Senior back in 2000 as he was a First Sergeant aboard Camp Pendleton and once he found out that I was in 3134... he gave me the details of how 2 of our drill instructors were court martialed following our graduation and because he was the senior, it held up his promotions. I knew about the court martials as I was supposed to testify on their behalves, but I had orders for overseas duty so the lawyers cut me loose and I never found out what the outcome of the court-martial.
