The Fire Control Repairer is primarily responsible for supervising and performing maintenance on combat vehicle, infantry and artillery fire control systems and equipment, as well as related test equipment.

Fire Control Repairer: The Fire Control Repairer performs and supervises direct and general support (DS/GS) maintenance on combat vehicles, infantry and artillery fire control systems and equipment, and related test equipment. Maintains DS/GS and/or repairs laser range finders, ballistic computers, laser observation devices, laser designators, thermal imaging systems, periscopes, telescopes, commander’s weapon station/auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies, fire control support equipment, and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Performs battlefield damage assessment and repair (BDAR) and provides technical guidance to the soldiers to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in fire control systems and related equipment at the DS/GS Maintenance level.
91G2O - Skill Level Two

Squad Leader: This soldier is responsible for all that the squad does or fails to do. They are a tactical leader and, as such, lead by example. The squad leader trains his/her squad on the individual and collective tasks required to sustain combat effectiveness. Manages the logistical and administrative needs of their squad. He requests and issues ammunition, water, rations, and special equipment. Maintains accountability of his soldiers and equipment. Completes casualty feeder reports and reviews the casualty reports completed by squad members. Submits requests for awards and decorations. Directs the maintenance of the squad's weapons and equipment. Inspects the condition of soldiers' weapons, clothing, and equipment. Insures that material and supplies are distributed to the soldiers in the squad. Keeps the platoon sergeant/leader informed on squad supply status and squad requirements. Ensures supplies and equipment are internally cross-leveled within the squad.

A minimum score of (93 in aptitude area EL and 90 in aptitude area GT) or minimum score of 98 in aptitude area EL on ASVAB tests administered on and after 2 January 2002. All Soldiers must attend consecutively (back-to-back) the Phase 1, 113-91G10, and their applicable Phase 2, 113-91G10, or 670-2171 (OS). These courses are not split option courses.
Course Scope:
To train students in Basic AC and DC Electricity, Basic Digital Electronics, and in the basic knowledge and skills to perform field and sustainment maintenance on the M1A1 Abrams fire control systems.
Special Information:
1. POI 113-91G10 Phase 1 is the consolidated ITRO portion of the course. Both US Army and US Marine Corps students will attend Phase 1 collectively. Phase 1 subjects include: Basic AC and DC Electricity, Basic Digital Electronics, and M1A1 Abrams Fire Control Systems.
2. POI 113-91G10 Phase 2 is unique only to US Army students. Subjects include: M1A1 Abrams fire control systems; Bradley TOW; Off Carriage/Miscellaneous fire control systems; Fire Control Artillery systems; Digitized repair of the LTD and MELIOS; DSESTS Van; G/VLLD; LRAS3; and the FIST/V. NOTE: US Marine Corps students will also be required to complete the subjects in POI 670-2171 (OS) (USMC) Phase 2 (Electro-Optical Ordnance Repairer) following completion of POI 113-91G10
