Electronics Technicians (Submarine) (ET) operate and perform maintenance on electronic equipment used for detection, tracking, recognition and identification, aids to navigation, radar, interior communications, alarm, warning, ship's control, entertainment, gyrocompass and plotting, electronic warfare systems, and instrumentation and control; operate and perform maintenance on general purpose test equipment, personal computers, and auxiliary equipment; operate, monitor, and control information systems in support of the world-wide telecommunications network; perform assigned mission organizational level maintenance and repair of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence Systems; and stand watch on related equipment.
